On Uncle Stephen's birthday, Mommy took the day off to do some stuff in my classroom. In the morning she read with me and then helped out with breakfast. While she helped with breakfast, I read to a classmate at my table. After that, she led the class with the help of some other parents in some spring projects. We made cat in the had rhyming hats, pinwheel daffodils, shamrock necklaces and played an adding to 10 game.
Then she went to pick up Fiona while I ate lunch. When she returned, we had a baby shower for my teacher. It was her last day at school that day.
We opened her presents, a piggy bank that we all decorated with thumb print piggies, and a book of baby advice. My advice was that the baby has to ride in a car seat in the car so it can be safe. We also predicted what the baby would be. I thought a boy because the baby kicks a lot and Maestra says, " Ow!" when it happens.
After that we made cat in the hat fruit skewers and colored in baby pictures where we could write down what we thought Maestra should name the baby. It was a really fun day.
