Christmas Day 2010

I got up bright and early on Christmas morning and saw that Santa had listened to me! He left me a pedal bike that was pink and a dr. kit. I also got lots of fun hair stuff and some nail polish and lip gloss.
We opened presents later. Grammy bought me the rain boots and umbrella that match my ladybug rain jacket!
Mommy and Daddy got me a little table to play on downstairs. We worked together like Bob the Builder and put it together right away.
Taking a break from building with my hot cocoa and peppermint spoon.
Grammy also got me a great tea set which I loved. We had to have a tea party on my new table right away.

Mommy and Daddy bought me a baby carrier for my baby dolls. I wore her around for a lot of the day.

Here Mommy and I are working on setting up my new Leapster Explorer. I got a fun game called Mr. Pencil.

Getting ready for bed and hanging out with my Daddy while eating my chocolate Santa. Yum!

Christmas Eve 2010

The day before Christmas Eve, my Grammy came to our house. We went out to dinner at TRex with Joey and his family and then we went to bed. When I woke up on Christmas Eve morning, my Uncle Louis was here. He had driven all night from Los Angeles to be here first thing in the morning.
We spent the day making and decorating cookies for Santa.

Mommy and I met up with Emma and Anna to get our toes painted.

Finally, Mommy, Daddy, Grammy, Uncle Louis and I got dressed up and went out to dinner in Napa.

When we cam home we put out cookies and milk for Santa (Daddy wanted to be original and leave cookies and beer, but I said no) and we put some carrots outside for the reindeer and then I went to bed.

Lawrence Hall of Science

Mommy and I had the week off before Christmas. We kept ourselves busy by going to the Lawrence Hall of Science with my friends Joey and Nolan on Monday. Here we are testing an air tube by sending different things up it to see what would go and what would just come back down.

Then I played on a pin wall and made the shape of my hands and my face in the wall. It was neat to walk around on the other side and see myself!
Later we went downstairs for a bathroom break and Joey and I played with some balance scales together.
Then we went outside and I played in the water some. They have plastic boards that you can put in the streams to divert the water to other areas. It's one of my favorite things at that museum.
When it was time to go, Joey and Nolan and I stopped at the air tubes with the beach balls to see how high we could get them to go.
Then we went outside and climbed on the huge DNA strand for a little while. We had perfect timing for leaving since it started to rain on our way home! It was a fun day.

After my nap that day, I went and saw my friend Melina's  new house for our weekly mom's group playdate. We left early due to a surprise visit from my Uncle Stephen. It was a great first day of vacation.

Trying out the new bike

Santa brought me a pedal bike (a pink one) like I asked for and I am working up the courage to ride it. Here I am with Daddy giving it a try on the second day after Christmas.

Santa

We went to visit Santa in San Francisco. This year, I was not afraid at all and went right to his lap and sat down. We had our picture taken and then he asked what I wanted for Christmas. I told him a pedal bike that's pink and some dr. stuff. He gave me a peppermint candy. He seems like a nice guy!

Christmas Program 2010

Our Christmas program was on Friday night. My class sang a song all by themselves this year so Mommy and Daddy could really see me well. I even did a little bow at the end. We got to wear santa hats and meet santa afterwards for a candy cane!

Mommy at School

Last week my mommy and my friend Emma's mommy came to my school to do a project with us. They read a story and helped us make a traditional swedish Christmas ornament and then we decorated ginger cookies with frosting and raisins and chocolate chips. It was lots of fun. Mommy taped my doing my name before I sat down in my chair.

Dizzy Park

During our Thanksgiving vacation, Mommy and I visited a park by Grammy's house that had a fun new toy that I had never seen before. I really liked going on it and getting dizzy. When we came back through, I asked to go to the dizzy park again. Its fun!

Thanksgiving Day

Early Thursday morning we woke up and got in the car for our annual Thanksgiving trip to Disneyland.

We got there and met up with Uncle Stephen and Aunt Natalie. Mommy was a little disappointed when she saw them cuz Aunt Natalie looked the same as always. No sign of a cousin for me. We walked to the tram and rode into Downtown Disney and stopped at a cafe for a quick bite while we waited for Grandpa and Uncle Louis to get there.
Mommy noticed immediately that Aunt Natalie did not order any coffee and that Uncle Stephen offered her a hot cocoa, but she didn't say anything. Once the group was all together we went inside Disneyland! After a quick bathroom stop, Uncle Stephen and Aunt Natalie wanted to take a picture with me. Here it is!

Daddy was the first to notice what the shirts said. Grammy was too busy taking the picture to pay attention to the shirts. We were all excited. Uncle Stephen had pictures of my new baby cousin (a boy) who is due on June 11th.

Next on my agenda was to visit the princesses. It was a long line, but in the end I got to meet three princesses, Belle from Beauty and the Beast

Ariel from The Little Mermaid (my favorite)
and Tiana from The Princess and the Frog.
After that we went on the Dumbo ride. I really enjoyed controlling the up and down motion of the Dumbo this year!
Then it was time for Pooh Bear! I got lots of hugs and an Eskimo kiss from him.
Then it was on to Tigger. We bounced together. It was lots of fun.
Finally I got to see Eeyore. We hugged.
Uncle Stephen buys me a giant princess lollipop at the shop by Pooh Bear every year. This year was no different. I shared it with Grandpa this year.

Here I am with Uncle Louis. He is soooo much fun! We were waiting in line at the Haunted Mansion. I was super scared and started crying right as we were going to get on the ride. Mommy and Daddy kept me safe though.
We happened to run into the Fairy Godmother outside Sleeping Beauty's castle.

Here I am trying on my new princess gear. I got earrings, a necklace, a purse and some glass slippers.

After such an exciting day, we hung out at Uncle Louis' house and had the traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner. It was a great Thanksgiving!
