Christmas Day

Lily got everyone up at 6 on Christmas morning to head down to the living room and check out presents. Fiona was immediately enamored of her new car and jumped right in.

Lily dug into her stocking finding this sparkly pink scarf.

Lily helped Fiona go through her stocking too. She got some fun hair clips (which she won't leave in).
She also got a new tooth brush which she tried out right away.
 Car and toothbrush!
Lily went straight for the big present, unwrapping her new gymnastics mat.

Then she helped Fi open her slide which was a huge hit with both girls!

Fiona lost interest in presents pretty quick, but Daddy helped her with a few.
After a quick breakfast of sausage and eggs, it was off to Grammy's house. Fi was not a fan of the long drive this time around.
It was after lunch time when we got there, so Fiona helped herself to the cheese plate.
Lily with Uncle Louis.
 Daddy with all the girls.

Fiona decided to hang with Uncle Louis too!
Lily watched while Caydence "opened" her present from us.
Fiona loved Caydence and spent lots of time with her.

Later, Lily convinced Uncle Louis and Ariel to play Life with her. She ended up winning, even though Uncle Louis was a brain surgeon!
After dessert, Lily and Daddy headed outside to try out the new Nerf football that you use in the dark with these fancy glasses.
It was a great day with family!

Pre Christmas Sunday

We woke up the Sunday before Christmas to the elf in the china cabinet with a new friend, a fox!
Lily got to have her nails painted with her friends Emma and Melina and Maya. Nalani was supposed to go too, but she got sick after arriving and had to go home.

Anna brought sparkling cider for the girls to enjoy while they got their nails painted. They all got fancy snow flakes on their big fingers and toes.
Lily was so relaxed that when the lady moved her foot, she almost slipped right into the sink!

After the girls were done, the daddies picked them up and the mommies enjoyed a quiet mani/pedi with sparkling wine and no children :)

A quick bite to eat and then we met up with the big girls again for a trip to watch the Nutcracker.

Fiona spent her day with Daddy and some of that included food at the Beeler's house. She enjoyed the smoked salmon pasta Anna made.

After dinner, Fiona decided to try on Lily's shoes and try to walk around in them.

Pre Christmas Saturday

The Saturday before Christmas was busy. We got up early and dressed up to go to San Francisco and see Santa.

Lily posed with the giant nutcracker at the entrance to Santa's village at Macy's.
The line wasn't long. Fiona and Lily watched the family before us as they had their turn.

Fiona did not smile, but she didn't cry like Lily did her second visit to Santa. Lily asked for a sewing machine and told Santa that Fiona wanted a push car riding toy.
After our busy morning seeing Santa, we were ready for our December mom's group potluck. Here are my cuties all ready to go.

There was a fun sing a long in the living room with lots of musical instrument accompaniment.
Fiona was particularly fond of the toy piano.
