First Haircut

Mommy and Daddy finally took pity on me and decided I might like to see and to be able to eat without hair in my face. They took me to a place called Snippety Crickets. I was unsure at first and cried until I realized it wouldn't hurt. I wasn't too happy however. Mommy thinks I look weird now, but I can see!

Christmas Day

I woke up this morning and Daddy brought me out into the living room. There were lots of new things! I got a wagon (from Santa) and an art table (from Grammy) and a fun car to ride (from Grandpa). I had fun opening all the presents. I took it slow, opening a few at a time and playing with them before moving on to the next set. I got lots of art supplies. I guess maybe that Santa isn't such a bad guy. Then we drove to Grandpa's and had some time with my uncles, my aunt, my Great Grandma and my Grandpa and Grammy. They spoiled me so much I didn't even want to open all my presents! We played and ate yummy food. I got to see my Aunt and Uncle's dogs. They are more my size since they are hounds. Boone barks everytime the door opens. It made me jump, but I liked him. It was a great Christmas.

Christmas Eve

Mommy and Daddy got me all dressed up on Christmas Eve for our Christmas Eve tradition. I got to wear fun shoes that made lots of noise when I walked. We took some pictures and then we went out to the car. We drove to the BART station and took the train into the city. We went to a fancy dinner at an italian restaurant called Perbacco. I had the best bread sticks! Mommy and Daddy ate lots of yummy pasta. I had a few bites of Daddy's anchovies. The best part came at the end. I got some of the best ice cream! It was salted caramel. Yum! Then we came home and Mommy and I put some cookies on a plate for Santa before we went to bed.

Car Seat

I like doing everything myself. That includes getting into the car, getting into my carseat and then buckling myself in. Sometimes, I can do it really fast and other times, I can't. During those times, Mommy or Daddy take over and I usually throw a fit.

Painting

I love to do art at school so Mommy thought I might like to give some art as presents this year. She got an easel from a parent at her school recently so we got it all ready and then I got to paint. I like to take the paint cups out of the tray and put them on the floor. Art is great!

Swedish Fish Pond

Daddy and Mommy took me fishing a few weeks ago. I got to go to a Swedish Christmas fair. My Mommy's friend Auntie Pia and my friend Emma's Mommy were there. I got to fish in the fish pond that they had. I also saw a St. Lucia procession, did some art and watched some dancing.

Getting the Christmas Tree

We got our tree last weekend. I have to say, I am not sure why we bought a tree to put inside the house, but I had fun running around the lot. I also got to go to Gumps in the city to choose a new tree ornament. Last year I got a crab and this year I got a really cool octopus. I helped Mommy decorate the tree too. That part was kind of fun.

Santa

So, Mommy and Daddy took me to the mall today. It is a place I kind of like. I can usually run around some and there are lots of things and people to see. Sometimes Mommy makes me try on clothes, not my favorite, but I will do it. Today they took me to stand in a line. That was ok cuz there were some fun spinning chairs. But the reason they wanted me to stand in this line was to sit down with a scary man. He had a cookie, but I still didn't trust him. They made me sit with him all by myself. I took the cookie after, but it was NOT fun.

My Sucker

While I was waiting to see Pooh Bear, my Uncle Stephen and Aunt Natalie bought me an enourmous pink and white Princess Sucker. As we were walking over to the tram, I got to eat some of it. I didn't want any help even though it was really heavy!

Disneyland Part 3

After meeting Pooh, we went on the Winnie the Pooh ride and decided to head over to Toon Town. I fell asleep on the way so the family stopped for a snack. When I woke up we started back towards Toon Town. We stopped for a second ride on the teacups. Everyone went this time. I was having a great time with Daddy turning us really fast and then suddenly I got a panicky look on my face. Daddy stopped the spinning and I went back to having fun. We got to Toon Town and took a lot of pictures. Then we went on Small World and then back to Toon Town for a spin on the Roger Rabbit ride. We took a last ride on the Haunted Mansion and then made our way to the gift store and out to the front of the park to head home.

Meeting Pooh Bear

After the carousel we went on the jungle cruise and then on to the Pirates of the Carribean. Then Grandpa got there and we all got together and we went over to Critter Country. I sleep with Pooh Bear every night. He stays up all night taking care of me while I sleep. Imagine my surprise when I saw him, only bigger, at Disneyland. I waited in line to meet with him. I was excited at first, but then I didn't really want us to touch. I said hi and bye bye, but wouldn't give him a high five. Then I got to go meet Tigger. I hurt his feelings when I wouldn't touch him, but in the end we made up. I still didn't touch though. Now when I see the pictures I say, "high five."

Disneyland Part 2

After my ride on Dumbo, we went and got my ears. They are a little big, but I picked the ones I liked best. Daddy had them put my name on them. Then I went on the teacup ride with Grammy and Mommy. I love to spin and really enjoyed it. Uncle Louis went and got Uncle Stephen and Aunt Natalie while we were doing this and then we all went on the carousel together.
