So You Think You Can Dance

My favorite show. I love to watch and dance, but when Daddy was watching with me tonight, I asked if he could do the carry that they did and he agreed. That I am wearing my Ariel dress is actually just a coincidence, but it makes it so much better to watch :)

Las Vegas

Last week Mommy and I took the long drive to Las Vegas to meet my new baby cousin, Colton. We drove to Grammy's house first and then she came with us the rest of the way to Vegas. It was REALLY hot there. When we got there, Colton was wearing an outfit that said "My Auntie is Awesome." I got to hold him with Mommy's help.

Uncle Stephen gave me a big blue lollipop which I didn't eat much of, but I enjoyed showing off my blue tongue afterwards!

Here I am shoving a muffin my mouth at breakfast.

We were extra lucky on our second day in Vegas because Uncle Louis was in town for work and we got to see him even though we didn't think we would.
Uncle Stephen gave me my birthday presents while we were there since he had to miss my party. He gave me some legos and both my Uncles helped me with some building.

On Wednesday Uncle Stephen took  me over to the community pool in his area and I got to swim. It was really hot, but the pool was fun. There was a little water slide and a big fountain. Mommy and I had a great time in the water. We tried to go back on Friday, but the pool was closed :(

I also dressed up in my fairy princess outfit on Wednesday.

Here I am having a little Grammy/ipad time.
I loved being around Colton and I commented several times about how he was getting bigger and bigger each day. Here he is "holding" my hand.
We tried to go back to the pool on Friday, but it was closed so I played at a water park near Uncle Stephen's instead

Mommy had Colton laying on the couch so I joined them and turned so I was facing him. He put his hand on my face.

Mommy bought me a fishing game to play while we were there. Here I am getting ready to use it.
We had s'mores for dessert on Fathers' Day. Yum.
Here I am doing one of my favorite things with Colton, touching his head. I also gave him a little kiss.
Daddy joined us in Las Vegas on Saturday. I had missed him soooo much.
Grandpa also came to visit on Saturday. Sunday morning Mommy had us take a picture with the Daddies and children.
A little cuddle time with Daddy and baby Colton.
When Daddy arrived we went to stay in a hotel. The hotel had a swimming pool so we headed over on Saturday to swim. It was pretty windy that day so I got cold quick, but I still enjoyed it.

I like to warm up in the shower out by the pool.
On Sunday night, Uncle Stephen and Aunt Natalie went out to dinner for Aunt Natalie's birthday and I got to help Mommy, Daddy and Grammy babysit. I dressed up for the occasion.
Here they are all dressed up for their first night out since the baby came.
On Monday, we dropped Daddy at the airport and then went to the Paris Hotel to meet Uncle Louis for lunch since he was back in town for the day.
Then we drove to Grammy's house to spend the night before driving home. I had a hard time on the way there not asking Mommy how much longer it would be about every 10 minutes. On the way to Grammy's I watched Bob the Builder and then some Mickey Mouse on the way home. Here I am intent on my watching.

Birthday Madness

Because Mommy joined a mom's group of ladies who had babies all about the same time, there are lots of birthday parties in May and June. It starts with Connor who turned 4 on May 5th. He had his party at the Adventure Park in the Berkeley Marina. The best way to describe this park is with the comment from my friend Emma's dad: I guess the safety standards don't apply here?
You can hammer, saw, and paint as well as climb on all the very unsafe looking structures. It was a lot of fun, espcially the painting!

Hanging on some ropes with Sofia.
I got a tape measure, pencil and tool belt!

My party came next, see Mommy's earlier posts on that. The following weekend I was supposed to go to my friend Tavi's party and a friend from school's party, but I got sick so I skipped those.
The following Monday, we celebrated Joey's birthday at the park for playdate. We played and had dinosaur cookies.

Time for birthday dino cookies!
Here we are playing train together.

I went down the slide with Emma, Anna and Maya!
Emma and I picked a wedding bouquet of ivy leaves.
The next weekend was Sofia's art party. We got to make crowns and wands, paint and play with sparkly playdough.

The first weekend in June was the big princess party for my friends Melina and Emma. They were supposed to have it at a park but it had been raining so much on Saturday and rain was forecast for Sunday so it ended up being at Emma's house. They had face painting, a castle pinata and my favorite, the "marry tent"

I got a wand out of the pinata today!
Cake time.
The Marry Tent!

Princess Emma and Fairy Princess Lily hanging in the castle.

This weekend was Dalia's party at the splash park in El Cerrito. I have been to a park like this near Grammy's house and I haven't been a fan because the water is cold, but peer pressure got me in for a while. I had fun playing with my friends, but I got cold quickly and cuddled up in my cover up with  my Dad.
Exploring one of the floor sprinkles with Joey.

Running through the park with Melia.
Now I am nice and warm!

Cake time with Emma and Sofia.
While Maya sat in Daddy's lap, my friends and I gave him a shower!

Next weekend is Melia's fairy princess party, but I will miss that since I am leaving today to go to Las Vegas and meet my new baby cousin!
