Mommy's Shoes

I like to try to put on Mommy and Daddy's shoes. Yesterday I got Mommy's shoe on and went for a walk.

Cookie

I can "say" about 25 different things now, including what a doggie says and what a fishy says. One of the new words I learned recently is cookie (coo coo). Yesterday, Mommy made homemade cookies for our playgroup and I got to eat one before we went. It was pretty fresh and a little messy, but I loved it!

Yummy

While at Grammy's I got to try some of Mommy's favorite foods from when she grew up in Delano. I got to try orange muffins and chocolate thumbprint cookies from Smiths and I tried peppermint icemilk from Dewars. I really enjoyed them. On my last night there, Mommy, Daddy and Grandpa took me to Dewars again. I got a chocolate sundae that I got all over myself. I also fell down and cut my lip. I had a fat lip! But the ice cream made it all better.

New Toy

I am staying at my Grammy's in Bakersfield this week. It sure is hot here. I don't want to go outside much. Mommy bought me a new toy today. I think she is using it wrong so I am using it the way I think it should be used.

MMM Yogurt

I am learning to eat with a fork and spoon by myself. Today I tried to eat yogurt with Mommy's spoon and my own at the same time!

Swimming

Mommy and Daddy took me swimming today. Mommy took lots and lots of video so this one is really long. It shows how I can jump in now and how I can go under water and it shows some of the songs we sing and even some of my friends.

More Talking

I loooove dogs right now. I still call them "ga", but I can tell you what they say. I have several dog books that I like to have Mommy and Daddy read to me over and over. It has taken Mommy at least a week to get me to answer the question on camera, but here it is!

I also say Bye Bye and Hi. Here is me practicing with my house.

Slide

I have learned how to go down the slide by myself now and I love it. Usually it works out well, but one time yesterday I got my leg stuck and things didn't go so smoothly. Here are some of my successful and less successful slides!

Fourth of July

This is my second Fourth of July, but I think I had more fun this year. I got to ride my bike to the coffee shop and have breakfast and practice my walking. Then we went to the park where I went on the slide and the swings and the teeter totter. I went to lunch with Mommy and Daddy in my red white and blue dress. Then we came home and played. I fell asleep eating a cracker with Daddy I was so tired from all the playing! I had dinner which included my favorite: corn. Daddy decided to take my dress off for dinner. Then Mommy gave me a bath and put me in PJ's and a sweatshirt so we could go watch the fireworks. They started so late. It was an hour past my bedtime and they still hadn't started so we left and went home to bed. Maybe next year I can stay up long enough to see them.

Bubbles

I have learned to ask for some of my favorite things. Last night Mommy got out my bubble gun and I was excited to see it and play with them so I rewarded her by saying "bubbles."
