Halloween potluck

On the Friday before Halloween, Mommy and I both wore Halloween shirts to school!
On Saturday my school had their annual potluck. I got dressed up in my samba dancer dress and we went over to school to have breakfast and play.
Here I am with princess Emma.
 Its pinata time!

Here we are getting all our candy!
It was a fun time and I really enjoyed dressing up in my fancy dress! Can't wait for the real thing on Monday!

Halloween preparations

This weekend we did a lot of work to get everything ready for Halloween next week. Daddy did lots of tree trimming and cleaning of the yard and when he was done, I got to spend some time leaf blowing!

We also went to Target to get the last of the supplies necessary for the Halloween costumes. Daddy plans to paint my face to go with my costume so I decided to try out the face paints for myself today.

Goblin Jamboree

Today Mommy and Daddy took me to the Goblin Jamboree at the Bay Area Discovery Museum. I went in my Pooh Bear costume (still fits two years later!). First I decorated a little goodie bag to carry around with me. Next Daddy saw a place where I could throw a wet sponge at Mommy the Witch. Mommy was thankful that I missed!
Here I am as the cutest Pooh Bear ever.
They had a fun pumpkin ride that was similar to the tea cups at Disneyland.
They had face painters there and we decided that Pooh Bear should have a bee on her face. The lady who did it wasn't so happy with mommy for suggesting the bee since she didn't seem to really know what she was doing.

 It turned out cute though.
 Next stop, bounce house.
There were pony rides again so I of course had to head up to that area.

My horse had flowers in her hair.
 Hi Mom and Dad!
This was Daddy's first time at this museum so I had to show him lots of things. Here I am inside the tree piece they have.

A bear trapped in a spider web!
I had to try to race with a witch today too. Here I am meeting my competition.
 Ready, set, Go!
 I'm win!
For trying out some scary things in the haunted pier, like shaking hands with a scary monster and crawling through a dark tunnel by myself, Mommy and Daddy got me some cotton candy.
I surprised them both by eating every bite!
It was a very fun morning of Halloween activities.

Weekend Fun

The weekend started on Friday with our monthly potluck at Melia's new house. The theme was pumpkin so all the food was pumpkin flavored. Mommy and I made pumpkin lasagna cupcakes. She made the beschemel sauce and I made the pumpkin filling. Here we are trying out all the different pumpkin stuff.
Melia has lots of fun dress up clothes so we all decided to try out some different outfits, even the boys.
This was the sleeping beauty dress that I liked.
Daddy and I sat together and had dessert.
Then he started reading a story to me and Sofia.
But then Emma and Melia joined too and we squished Daddy!
On Sunday we drove to a Pumpkin Patch and I got to ride a full sized horse!

After my ride I got another ride in the wheelbarrow out to the pumpking patch.

I picked this green and orange pumpkin.
I tried to move the wheelbarrow by myself...
But it worked much better with Daddy's help.
I climbed to the top of the hay pyramid.
And then I got my picture taken in the little wooden scarecrow.
Before we left it was time for a second horse ride.
