Fourth of July

We began our Fourth of July by walking Emma home after our sleepover. We ended up hanging out with them at their house and having lunch in their back yard. After a quick nap, we headed out to Memorial Park where we ran into Juliet. We spent some time in the petting zoo together. Fiona got to look at the animals from outside.

Mommy took Fiona home and I waited in line to go through the bouncy obstacle course.

Fiona fell asleep on her walk home.
After that we went to the Rapozas to have some dinner.
We "swam" in the back yard.
Fiona snuggled up in a towel while dinner was prepared.
Afterwards we walked over to the park for the local fireworks show. Daddy declared it the best fourth ever.

Family Time

The family stayed until the morning after Fiona's birthday party. There was some Connect 4 playing that Fiona wanted in on.

We also spent time trying to get pictures with the grandparents. Here is Colton with Grammy.

Here is Fiona trying to get in on a hot game of Candyland between Lily, Grandpa and Uncle Stephen.
Grandpa decided to try some holding to protect the game.
Colton entertained us with his piano playing.
Fiona got to open some more presents from various family members.

The grandchildren all got together on the trampoline. Even though I took about 15 pictures, I never got one where all three were looking at the camera.

We got everyone in one picture with Grandpa.
Fiona was playing with a new giraffe toy.

We could not get Colton to agree to a picture with Grammy and Lily and Fiona.

Then it was time for a rousing game of ring around the rosie.

Fiona tried out her new bouncing turtle as well.
Later that day, we had some s'mores and Fiona had a little bit of chocolate.

Fiona's birthday party!

Mommy stayed up late the night before the birthday party working on the crabby birthday cake. She finished it up in the morning.

Unfortunately before the party the dog got in the kitchen and helped himself to the back of the crab. Mommy and Daddy cut off the doggy parts and replaced and re-iced so it was ready for the party again.

We had fruit and goldfish and peanut butter and jelly fish crackers as well as oyster crackers. Colton did a great job sharing with the birthday girl!

After dinner and playtime, we got to sing and blow out candles on my birthday cake.

After I decided not to eat any of this birthday cake either, I hung out in Nora's car seat. It was a great party!
