Fiona's First Birthday!

Our little girl is one now! Her birthday was the day after we arrived home from vacation. We began the day with breakfast at Masse's. Fiona got a Happy Birthday cookie!

Then we made a trip to the grocery store for some food! Fiona had a cheese and cracker sample while we shopped.

Then we went to Target to buy Fiona's birthday presents (shhh don't tell her we weren't prepared first thing in the morning!) Grammy came while we were there and then we headed home for some play time.

Then it was time to open those birthday presents!

After some nap time we headed over to Pizzaiolo for some birthday dinner.

Finally it was time to come home and have birthday cake. Mommy and Daddy got Fiona all set up on the table with her little chocolate cake. We had practiced blowing in the weeks before her birthday, but she decided against blowing out her candle.

She also decided against eating any cake, even though she likes cake! She wouldn't even really touch the cake.

 Lily was upset that she couldn't "help" with the cake.

 Then Lily crying made Fiona cry too.

 After one last attempt to get Fi to eat some birthday cake, we decided it was too late and we'd try again in the morning.
