Caric Visit

At the end of September Grammy, Uncle Stephen and Colton came for a visit. After they got there, we played outside. We all loved making food in the little playhouse.

Fiona and Colton took naps. Fi was a little rock star during hers since she fell asleep with her glasses on.

The next day while Uncle Stephen worked, we went up to little farm. We all liked sitting on the big red tractor.

Lily and Colton played on the structure for a while.

Fi came later with Daddy in the stroller.

Then it was time for animal feeding. First the birds.

Then some time with the bunnies, but just petting, not feeding.

On to the cows. This one is named Lily.

At the bottom of the hill there was a bubble station which was a lot of fun.

Cuddle time with Grammy is a must!

Back home to eat some lunch together.

Then it was story time with Lily before naps for Colton and Fiona. It was a fun visit!

gymnastics

Ballet

Ballet has started up again. Lily's class has to wear pink leotards this year. The challenge we are finding with the short hair is that it is not as easy as it used to be to get it out of her face for class.

Miss Paula usually lets Lily and Clara invite their 2 year old siblings in for ribbon dancing and glitter at the end of class.

Fiona and Adam love ballet almost as much as their sisters. His mom and I took them with us to Cheeseboard recently and they had a blast playing together in line.

Adam decided the music was too loud and put his hands over his ears so of course, Fiona had to do the same.

September

Lily got her new Rosa Parks shirt soon after school started. She chose bright pink this year.

 We went to Aili and Giana's house for Mexican one night.

 The little girls played on the trampoline while the big girls played on the swings.

 Fiona likes to try on Lily's backpack, which is almost as big as she is!

 Lily made a cream cheese and strawberry snack one day after school at Patty's house.

 We had our end of summer potluck with our mom's group. Fiona and Nora had a blast playing on the bars together.

Lily and her friends played lots of games on the structures and on the grass.

A walk with hats.

 Fiona decided to try out the piano in the nude. Something about the piano attracts my children to wanting to play it without their clothes!

 Emma came over to watch Project Runway with us one Friday after school. We enjoyed some popsicles together.

 For the Solano Stroll we walked in the parade to support our school's candidate for school board.

 Lily handed out stickers along the parade route.

Afterwards we met up with the Beelers to stroll and eat.

 We tried out some musical instruments at the booth for the music school.

 We snacked on the sidewalk from various booths as well.

 We went to a PTA function and Lily posed with classmates Leo and Katia.

 We finally had some rain! The girls walked to school and the bus with their umbrellas.

 Fiona was getting ready to go to Farmers' Market. She wanted to wear her knit cap and her flip flops together.
