My First Ride

When we got inside we decided to head over to get my Mickey ears, and on the way we stopped at my first ride, the Dumbo ride. As I was waiting for my turn, I was watching the other kids go and saying," Ride, ride." I liked it a lot! It was fun to fly with Mommy and Daddy.

Disneyland Part 1

Mommy and Daddy got me up early on Thanksgiving Day and drove us to the airport. We got on a plane and when we landed, I got to see my Uncle Louis. He drove us to a place where we met Grammy and eventually Uncle Stephen and Aunt Natalie and Grandpa. Grammy and Uncle Louis and Mommy and Daddy and I went through these gates and went inside. Wow! It was a huge place all decorated for Christmas. I got my map and started to plan my first day at Disneyland

Animals

I am a big fan of animals and I can tell you the sounds that many of them make. Mommy got them on tape. I even know the difference between what a regular dog says and what my dog Zin says.

Feeding Zin

I have now learned how to open the container the dog food is in. I love to feed my dog handfuls at a time. Today I disappeared upstairs and was very quiet. Mommy snuck up on me with the camera and found me feeding the dog.

18 months

Yesterday was my 18 month birthday. Mommy and Daddy can hardly believe that I am a year and a half old! Mommy took a little video of me while I was playing yesterday. First I am tearing the petals off a flower and putting them in the fireplace. Then I am playing with Daddy. He is outside cooking and I can see him out the window. Then I do a little dancing, a little more playing with Daddy and then I go looking for my favorite book. I read it myself now. Mommy's favorite part is when I say Wheee when I see the blimp.

Swimming

Mommy and Daddy took me swimming this morning. I hadn't been in a while and I really had fun. I could have spent the whole time jumping in over and over.

Pumpkin Carving

I think the inside of the pumpkin is pretty icky. I wouldn't touch it so Daddy had to scoop the seeds out. He had to do the cutting cuz I am too little to hold the knife. I did like taking the pieces he cut out of the pumpkin though!

Halloween Fun

Yesterday was a fun day. I got to come to school with Mommy. I was in the parade with her students. Then I hung out in the room while she taught a lesson. I got to eat pizza with her and the other teachers. Then I got to play at the Halloween party after that. I got to decorate a cookie and play with backpacks and lunch boxes. After all the kids left, I helped Mommy clean up the room and then we went and got Grammy at the train station. Once Daddy came home, we went trick or treating in our neighborhood. It only took me one house to get the hang of saying trick or treat and then getting something to put in my cool pumpkin bag. After that we went to a friend's house for a potluck with all of my friends from my playgroup. We ate and played and then trick or treated some more. Daddy gave me some candy when we got back. I LOVED it! He let me have a nestle bar and then he gave me a tootsie pop. I got really tired after that and I came home and had a tiny bit more chocolate and then I went to sleep. It was a busy day!
