Fiona self medicates

Fiona must really like the flavor of the pain reliever that we give her when she's teething. She got the box with the bottle and then dumped it out and found the part that you use to give the medicine.

Ballet Performance

This Sunday was my big ballet performance. The teacher put on the show of Coppelia. We get to keep our costumes this time. They are pink and fluffy and I really like them. Daddy took some pictures of me posing before the show.

 Then we headed over to the high school theater where we met up with Emma and Melina outside.

 Here are some photos of me dancing on stage. I did a really great job!

 At the end of the way too long ballet, all the dancers came on stage for a finale. I got to dance next to Emma and Melina then.

  We watched our friends Sofia and Connor do a hip hop routine before heading out of the theater. We got some flowers and then went back to our house.

When we got there, we all posed for pictures in our costumes before celebrating a job well done with ice cream sundaes.

Little Farm Trip

Last week I got to go on a field trip to Little Farm with my class. We started by feeding the animals. Afterwards we all gathered up and talked about the animals we had seen.

 Fiona came with us that day since she had had a fever the last two days and couldn't go to school.

 After some time in the nature center where I ran into Emma on the same trip with her kindergarten class, we had lunch on the grass.

 Then we took a walk around the lake. We saw a little turtle family sunbathing.

 Mommy had us gather up and take a photo all together by the lake.

 Fiona wanted in on the action too! We had a fun trip and enjoyed our day outside.

Gymnastics

There is going to be a gymnastics show soon, but as it is on the same day and almost the same time as Emma's birthday party, I am not going to participate. We practiced the routine last week and Mommy taped it all.

SIX!

On Thursday, May 9th, I turned 6 years old. I was up early and eager to open my presents!

 Mommy and Daddy gave me a huge card!

 I got this really pretty dress.

 I also got a kit that allows me to make and decorate my own headbands.

 Mommy and Daddy also gave me a fancy lamp for my bedside table. I had seen it at Target and liked it.

 Later that day, Mommy came to school to help me celebrate with my classmates.

 She made lemon cupcakes with raspberry jam inside. I had orange frosting and white chocolate 6's on each one too.

 I enjoyed helping to hand them out to my friends.

 After school was out, we went over to Marin school and picked up Emma. We headed to the farmers' market where we met up with Joey and had some strawberry ice cream to celebrate.

 Then we headed over to the park to play for a while.

Fiona practiced standing on the bench.

 Then it was back home where I opened my present from Emma.

 She made me a beautiful card.

 She gave me a hat that is like one that she has,

 a very fancy silver belt,

and a purse that I am modeling here. This was the outfit I wore to dinner at Comal for my birthday celebration. What a great day!

Friday night I celebrated with Emma and Melina after ballet. We had dinner together first.

 Fi enjoyed some corn.

 We had lemon tart from Marcia and Paul to celebrate.

 I helped serve it up. It was delicious!

 Finally, on Saturday night, Mommy and Daddy took me out to dinner while Fiona stayed at home with Janelle. I had a fancy drink and lots of yummy food. It was a great birthday week. I can't wait to continue my celebration in a few weeks at Disneyland!
