Vacation

Mommy and I took a vaction the week of Thanksgiving. We started out that Saturday morning by heading to my last soccer class and having lunch with Daddy before the long drive to Grammy's. We stayed Saturday afternoon, Sunday and Monday at Grammy's. We had dinner with Grandpa twice, went to a Grammy's office, visited with some of Mommy's cousins and discovered a fun new toy that I used to name the park near Grammy's house. I call it the dizzy park. You'll see why later.

Tuesday morning we got up and made the long drive to San Diego. Mommy got lucky and took 5 all the way down with no traffic! We met up with Mommy's friend Sara and met her new baby Andrew. I played with her other son, Jack. We watched Bob the Builder and ate macaroni and cheese together. After my nap it was time to head to the airport to pick up my Daddy.

The next day we met Sara and her family and my cousins Johnny and Riley with their Mommy (and later their Daddy) at the world famous San Diego Zoo. I got to see many things we don't see here, like orangatangs and gorillas,

koala, polar and panda bears and rhinos. We got to see the giraffes and elephants up close!

It was fun hanging out with my cousins and Jack at the zoo. We had a lot of fun, but we all got really tired!

When we left the zoo we got in the car for the long trafficy drive to Uncle Louis' house in Hermosa Beach where we met up with Grammy, Grandpa and Uncle Louis for some dinner and playtime before much needed bed time.

Halloween 2010

On Halloween, we went trick or treating three times. First we went with Grammy down to Fourth Street for brunch and some trick or treating at the stores there. Then I had a nice nap. After I woke up we went to Emma's house for our Halloween potluck. I loved trick or treating this year. Last year I was one of the last people at each house and I wanted Mommy and Daddy with me. This year, I was one of the first two at the door each house and I did  a lot of the knocking. I have quite a bag of candy. When we got back to Emma's I got to eat as  much as I wanted.
When we got home, Daddy took me trick or treating at two of the neighbor's houses before we came inside for bed. We had left a huge bowl of candy on the porch for trick or treaters who came to our house. Daddy and I made a cute sign letting people know they could take what they wanted. It looked like the candy had not even been touched. Mommy took it to school to donate.

Halloween Potluck

This year my school had a Halloween potluck breakfast on Saturday morning. Mommy, Daddy, Grammy and I walked over to school. We had breakfast with the other families. We spent some time playing and then the dance class did a little performance. Finally, we got to go outside during a rain break and hit a ghost pinata and get some candy.

In order to make sure we didn't have to wash my flower costume, I wore a cinderella dress to the school potluck.

After the potluck, we visited a lady with puppies. This one is called Pinstripe and he is one of the two puppies that we might be getting after Thanksgiving. Isn't he cute?

Silly Song

On Friday we had our Halloween celebration at school. There were so many moms and dads helping get us into costumes that we were ready early and we got to do some of the fun things we do every day so they could see it. We did our calendar activities which I talk to Mommy about all the time.

Then we got to sing our silly song about the days of the week.

After that we had our parade and then we sang some songs and had our Halloween party. We got fun treats from our teacher and ate good food. Then I went home with Mommy and Grammy.

Making Cookies

This weekend we had our annual cookie decorating and pumpkin carving party. We had to do it inside because it rained :( On Saturday, Mommy and I made the cookie dough before soccer. Then, after my nap we rolled out the dough and stamped the cookies.
On Sunday, my friends came over and the daddies and mommies carved the pumpkins mostly. My friends and I spent time playing in my room and decoratin the cookies with the frosting Mommy and I made and all the fun sprinkles. It was messy, yummy and fun. Afterwards, Mommy's friend Cathi and her family stayed for pizza dinner and some fun pictures.

Here I am making my own cookie
