Lily was really looking forward to a trip to Sea World. We started the morning with our walk and some crackers before loading up and heading out to the park.
The first thing we did was visit an exhibit with cleaner fish in it. You put your hands in and the fish come over to gently clean them off. Fiona was having none of it!
We found a tank with shark eggs, or mermaid's purses in it. We took a picture to send to Ariel for her birthday since she is a "mermaid!"
Here is Lily in front of a tank of Beluga whales. We went to visit the polar regions after getting overheated in the stadium where we watched the dolphin show. The cool was very welcome!
Then we headed over to Shamu stadium. Fiona was very nervous with the whales swimming in the tank and wouldn't get close to them on her own for a photo the first time we went down.
Lily found the stuffed version of Shamu to take a picture with. Fiona wanted nothing to do with him.
We went back to the whale tank for another try.
After that we went upstairs to watch the show. We sat in the soak zone and we all got wet, though Mommy got it the worst.
It was too much for Fiona. She decided to nap after a cheeto snack.
Lily went to the play area while Fi napped and had her picture taken with Elmo and Grover.
She also tried out a carnival game where she had to try to bear climb up a rope ladder without falling down. She didn't make it.
Here is our next trip down to Shamu's tank. Fiona was more interested this time and would watch them and when they swam by she would run back to us laughing.
It was a fun day at the park seeing all the ocean creatures.
