My Playgroup

Its been a while since my playgroup took a group photo. There are 19 kids now counting Melina's big brother (who wasn't there :(. We tried to take a picture with all 18 kids, but it was difficult since we range in age from 5 years to 3 months! Mommy got one with almost everyone, just one younger sister was missing and then she also got one with just the original nine. Can't believe we are still hanging out together regularly after 5 years!

BTW Stephen and Louis, Mommy said to tell you she had flashbacks to christmas card photo taking during this photo session!

Roll/Walk to School Day

Wednesday was National Roll or Walk to School Day. Daddy and I rode from our house to my school together. Here we are getting all prepared to go. I have my backpack in my bike basket and Daddy is getting his helmet on.

Now we are all set to head off to school!
 I'm ready to roll.
We started off down the street. This was my first time riding my bike in the street the whole way. Usually I am on the sidewalk.
Daddy wanted me to ride in front so he could keep an eye on me.
 Away we go!

Here we are arriving at school. Someone had put a big chalk bicycle on the ground!
I got to choose a treat when I got there.
Then I put a sticker up on the graph to show that I rode my bike to school.
Daddy sat on my bike while he took my picture.
I had fun, but when Mommy picked me up in the afternoon and asked if I wanted to rude to school again, I said I didn't think so. We'll see if I change my mind.

Visitors

Grammy came for her monthly visit. We love and look forward to these visits. She does art and projects with us,

 holds us,
and plays fun games with us. Here we all are playing zingo.
We also had a visit from some friends last weekend. Daddy has been busy making beer lately and had 3 new ones for friends to try so we got pizza and beer/cider/sparkling wine to celebrate friends and a new job for one friend. Here I am with two of my friends. We are all wearing my dresses!
Later three of us, plus siblings, sat on the couch to watch some Dancing with the Stars.

3 months

I am three months old now. Mommy weighed me on the scale at home and I am unofficially a little more than 11 pounds. Here I am practicing my tummy time on my whale that came with my ocean play mat.
I still love bath time. I can be really upset and it helps me chill out. Mommy even used it the other day when we had a rare hot day. I got to cool off in a nice cool tub.
I hang out on my ocean mat alot. My favorite toy on it is the octopus that hangs above me. I can get his tentacles into my mouth now!
Here I am having some nakie time. I peed on Mommy while she was taking these pictures :)
On my three month birthday we went to music in the park. It was a little chilly so Daddy zipped me into his sweathsirt.
I smile all the time, even at strangers. I'm a huge flirt. I also laugh when Mommy or Daddy tickle me.
I
My changing table is still one of my favorite places to be. Here I am wearing the outfit that Lily wore home from the hospital.
Mommy and I met Daddy for lunch on my three month birthday.
 Silly Baby

Sometimes I fall asleep on my playmat. Playing is hard work.
Mommy covered me up with a blankie.

Weekend Fun

A few weeks ago, Mommy and Daddy took FiFi and I on the ferry. I had been interested in a ferry ride since I learned one of my field trips this year would include a ferry ride. It was pretty chilly, but it was fun to ride the boat. We got dropped off at fisherman's wharf. We stopped to see the Boudin bread factory and they were making turtle shaped bread. Then we walked over to the sea lion area and then down to the Ferry Plaza farmers' market. Then we hopped back on the ferry and rode back to Oakland.

When we got there the Ben & Jerry's store was open and had this fun photo opportunity. Daddy help Fi up so we could take a picture together as Ben and Jerry.
The next day we headed to Oakland again for my friend Juliet's birthday party at Pump It Up. We had to sit and listen to the rules before we got to go in and bounce.
There were slides and things to climb and regular bounce houses. It was fun to run and bounce with my friends from pre school.
Fiona got to hang out with Soumi's sister while I bounced.
I think she was having fun!
After the party we headed over to Emma's for dinner. We played dress up and I wore Emma's queen dress.
Fiona fell asleep and got put on the couch for dinner time.
Later we played school and Emma, Maya and I were the teachers for Daddy and Fi. We read them stories.

Kindergarten Writing

I brought home a bunch of  my writing this week. Right now I am doing mostly pictures, but sometimes I do words with help. Below is one of the pictures I made during writing last week. At the bottom, I did a family portrait.

From the left after my mess up is Fiona (Daddy and Mommy love the hair), then Daddy, then Mommy and then me. It was Mommy and Daddy's favorite thing in my folder!
