Planting Strawberries

Mommy and I planted some strawberries in our front yard today. I love strawberries and can hardly wait for them to grow. I insisted that we go upstairs and get my gloves cuz I don't like to get my hands dirty.

Swim Lessons Jan. 21

Today I had my first lesson with goggles. I kept my head under longer and I didn't flail around as much. I swallowed some water about half way through my lesson and then threw it back up so I had to get out. I still had fun though!

Spaghetti

Mommy just barely got my cute way of saying spaghetti on tape because the second time I said it for the camera, I said it right! She's been waiting two weeks for me to have spaghetti at lunch again.

Piglet

Today I put my sunglasses on my Piglet. Mommy thought it was too cute!

Genetics

Mommy says that I have some of her genes. She eats some things in interesting ways. One of those things is a peanut butter cup. I have never seen her eat one, but she told me yesterday that she eats the little ridges off the top edge of it before eating the rest.

So, yesterday afternoon as we were walking home from school, we had to stop at the "little store" for some eggs and ziploc bags. My favorite thing about the little store is they have individual pieces of candy by the register and Mommy and Daddy will usually get one for me. Yesterday I asked for a peanut butter cup so Mommy bought me one. As we walked home, I unwrapped it and ate it. When Mommy noticed how I was eating it, she made me stop to take a picture to show Daddy that I must have that eating gene that she has.

I just wanted to eat up my peanut butter cup!

First Swim Lesson

Yesterday I started my first real swim lessons. I am in the water without Mommy and Daddy. I did a great job! Mommy and Daddy were worried I might hop off the wall all on my own, but I listened and did all the things my teacher asked me to. I also hammed it up for the camera when I saw Mommy taping me. I go again tomorrow and I can't wait!

My New Bike

I got a new bike from Santa. The first thing I asked about was why there were no pedals. I still don't understand it, but I love riding it. Mommy and Daddy say that it is a balance bike to teach me how to ride a big girl bike without training wheels. I have only had it about a week and I am already starting to drift and try to lift my feet up. This was me yesterday at the school by our house.
