On the next to last day of school, Maestra Contreras invited the parents to come in so she could say thank you for the year and to give all the students awards. Lily got the award for being a teacher in her heart.
Then we all walked to the park near the house for some play time and lunch. Lily had a great time!
She and her friends spent a lot of time getting dizzy on the tire swing.
After they had had enough of that, she and Aili rode the regular swing together.

They also spend some time playing soccer together.
Then it was time to break for lunch.
The final day of school was pajama day for Lily. They were going to watch movies and pack up their stuff and have a pizza party.
When I got there to help out after my kids went home, they were coloring and watching Scooby Doo.
Here is Lily with her awesome first grade teacher after the last day was over. It was a great year.
