Gymnastics

Fiona is loving gymnastics. She goes on Tuesdays and has class with her friend Adam. His sister is in Lily's ballet class so they spend an hour together most weeks and now they are taking class together too. Here they are bouncing on the trampoline together.

 They jumped into the pit together too. They are so cute now. If one of them is in the pit and can't get out, they help each other out.

Oakland Museum Field Trip

Lily's class took a trip to the Oakland Museum of California. I went with her and we headed out on the bus.

 When we got there, we hung out by the pond and watched the Koi until it was time to go on our tour.

 We went to see the Day of the Dead Exhibit. We saw all kinds of interesting exhibits like these sugar skulls that someone decorated with colorful frosting.

 This was a huge floor display with lots of colorful flowers.

 This one was on a wall and showed a boat and lots of floating chairs.

Afterwards we got to explore the rest of the museum on our own with small groups before heading home. We had a great time!

Berkeley Half Marathon

Daddy signed up to run the half marathon in Berkeley again this year. Lily and I decided to run the 5K with Fiona. We had all been sick leading up to the race, but we decided to get out there anyhow. Here are the girls all ready to "run."

 Daddy had to head out first. We waited with him in the starting area.

Lily and I ran the first mile or so and then walked most of the rest of the way, though we decided to run at the end to finish strong. They announced her name as she crossed the finish line. We then booked it back to the start to find Daddy and watch him finish.

 This is Lily one day after school when she was supposed to be reading for homework. She has Gooey disease and fell asleep!

 Fi had a rough month and was sick again a few times in November. Here she is with Daddy on the couch with her trash can in case she needed to "cough" in the trash can again.
