Pre Christmas Eve

In the two days before Christmas Eve we did some fun stuff. Grammy was still here and we had breakfast together. Fi had a waffle.

 Mommy made a snowman pancake for me. It had a bacon scarf and blueberry eyes and buttons with whipped cream snow.

 The next day I met up with Melina and Emma and their moms for our annual pre Christmas manicure/pedicures. We all got fancy pictures on our toes. I got snowmen.

Emma and her family plus her grandparents from Sweden came over one night to do our annual gingerbread decorating night. We had fun with the houses and then ate lots of yummy food.

Ballet Recital

Towards the end of December I participated in my first ballet recital. We had costumes and danced on a stage. Before the recital started, I played around with Emma and her sister Maya.

 Emma, Melina and I take classes together so we danced together on the stage. I am in the middle, Melina is to my left and Emma is to the right at the edge of the picture.

 

 Afterwards, Daddy got flower for the three of us for doing such a good job.

 Then the three of us had our pictures taken together with our flowers. Then we went for an ice cream treat together

Fe Fi

In December, Fiona had a second playdate with Cameron, Mommy's friend at school's little boy. He is two months younger. They watched each other while Mommy and Jess talked.

 Fiona began to get up on her hands and knees this month.

 Fiona got to go to the carousel at Tilden park. She rode once. Here she is with Daddy and our friend medium Joey standing next to the Star Wars tree.

 Fiona and Lily rode in the double cart at Target.

 We bought a Bumbo for Fiona that day. Here she is breaking all the rules sitting in it on the kitchen table while we were frosting Santa cookies.

Fiona got to go swimming for the first time in December. She took to the water right away, and even went under and "jumped" in a couple times. We have been taking her every week since the new year began and she is loving it!

I got to go to Pinkalicious again with some friends. Just as good the second time around :)

Christmas Tree

 

At the beginning of December, we went to pick out our tree. Daddy has started the surprise tree tradition. We buy one that is still al wrapped up and then wait to see what it looks like when we unwrap it at home. Fiona and I rode the tree in the lot.

 

 Fiona is wearing the outfit I wore for my first Christmas.

 Here we are decorating the tree. Fiona "chose" a swordfish ornament for her first ornament. Mommy helped her put it on the tree.

 

 

 

 I chose a snow lady this year.

 Daddy helped me hang it and the nutcracker ornaments we got.

For the long hiatus. Our computer died and all the pictures are trapped on the camera. A replacement computer has been ordered and should arrive around the end of the month. Look for Christmas photos finally in February!
