The Baby Shower

Last weekend we drove to Grammy's to have a baby shower for Aunt Natalie and Baby Blue. I got to play with my cousins Alex and Marcella while we were there. I liked helping Aunt Natalie with the presents. THe cupcakes were yummy too!
When we first saw Aunt Natalie, I was a little hesitant to put my hand on her belly, but once I felt Baby Blue kick me, I kept putting my hand on her tummy every chance I got. It was fun to see my uncles and my Grammy and Grandpa too.

Hat Parade 2011

My school has a spring hat parade every year. This year Mommy and Daddy took me to Michaels and we got to go shopping for lots of fun hat decorations. I decided on a pink cowboy hat, a multi-colored feather boa, some paints and glitter and a little girl and dog character. Daddy and I worked hard on the painting and then we all worked on gluing the boa and the girl and dog onto it.

Snappers

I love to play with my own "snappers" when Daddy barbecues. I also like to torture my dog with them.

Princess Dresses!

I decided a few weeks ago that I would like to try to wear panties to bed at night instead of a diaper. I tried really hard for a couple of nights, but I kept having accidents. I switched back to pull ups, but kept trying to keep them dry. As soon as I switched back, I was dry 3 nights in a row! Daddy promised me good things each night if I kept my diaper dry (ice cream, a new toy, candy) and he said if I kept it dry for 7 nights in a row I could get TWO new princess dress from the Disney store. I had three nights of a wet diaper and then I went 10 nights in a row! Half of those I wore my pull up and the other half I was in panties. I got to go to San Francisco with Mommy and Daddy today to pick my dresses. I got a Princess Belle dress with high heeled shoes and a Princess wedding dress. I am such a big girl now!

Tummy Float

Today at swim lessons I was the only one who good do a tummy float all on my own. Mommy was super proud.

More Swimming

I started swim lessons again this week. I am going twice a week after school. I love to sit on the wall and wave at Mommy while she watches me. I've had two lessons so far, so not too much exciting stuff has happened so far, but here is Mommy's favorite. I was trying a tummy float and the teacher was telling me how to position my body. When I wasn't getting it, she put me on the deck to show me how it should be. When Mommy asked me about it later, I told her that she was trying to get me to put my booty down.
