Gymnastics
I went to gymnastics yesterday. I have a new coach named Michaela. She tells us to put on our watching eyes when she is telling us what to do. She has us doing lots of stuff on the bars so I did some flipping on my own and with my coach. I love that Daddy can come and watch me now too. Last week I asked Mommy if I could see some video from gymnastics and she hadn't taken any so this time she did.

Self Portrait
Last Friday my school had a little get together for the parents in the morning. Mommy and Daddy came to school with me and talked with my teachers. I introduced Daddy to my new teacher, Teacher Bianca. We showed them my classroom and then I played while Mommy and Daddy talked with other mommies and daddies. On the bulletin board outside my classroom is an art project I did. We made dolls to look like us and then we drew our faces. Mommy took a picture because she thought I did such a good job on my drawing and the doll is super cute.

Solano Stroll
Today was Solano Stroll. It is a day when they close the whole street of Solano and there is a parade, food, booths and rides. We went to Emma's for breakfast before the start. We played and ate and then rode in my stroller together to the party.
We stopped to watch the parade right in front of the face painting booth! I immediately got my face painted like a butterfly. My friend Dalia was in the parade with her new preschool. There were bands and dancers and fire trucks. It was great!
After the parade we walked down the street having snacks as we went. We ran into my friend Joey and Melia. We decided to go down the big slide. However, Daddy didn't realize he needed a ticket too, so I was going to go with Melia and Emma and their Daddies. BUT when we got to the front, the man said that you couldn't go down the slide if you didn't have on close toed shoes, so those daddies couldn't go. We all three ended up going with my daddy instead. We held hands on the way down. Emma didn't like it much, but Melia and I did!

Soccer Take 2
Apparently, Melia's Grammy took a picture of the Daddies and Mommy trying to take our pictures yesterday at soccer. That's Melia's Daddy trying to make us laugh.
Soccer
Yesterday I started my soccer class. I am in class with my friends Emma and Melia. Daddy and I drove to class with Emma and her Daddy. We had fun with our coach doing stretches and playing with the ball. Afterwards, Emma's daddy gave us all juice boxes to drink. I can't wait to go again next week!

Reading
I love to read books and I have many that are my very favorites. I can "read" several of them myself. Mommy caught me doing a short one the other day while I was waiting for Mommy and Daddy to come read to me before bed. First I read about Julius' candy corn and then I read about Owen's marshmallow chick.

Making Breadsticks
Daddy made us pizza for dinner last night. I got to sit at the counter and help him roll breadsticks. I was telling him what to do! After a while, Mommy turned on some music and I decided to dance and roll!
