I'm so slee...zzzz

I had such a long day today. It started at Masse's for a croissant breakfast, followed by some time at the park and then some shopping and some time at a new kids club. I fell asleep for a little while on the way home, but then Mommy and Daddy woke me up to go to Solano Stroll. I never ended up going back to sleep so when dinner time came I was super tired.

Olives

One of my favorite foods is olives. Mommy has been trying to tape me eating them with my fingers for a while now and I finally cooperated with her.

Food

One thing I like to do is feed myself now. I make a mess, but it is sure fun!

16 months

I am really loving being able to walk. I want to go everywhere by myself, even down the steep stairs at our house. I have been working hard to learn to go up and down stairs on my feet. I have learned that mom or dad's hand or a rail can help. I also really love to climb on things now. I try to climb in and out of everything. Tonight I tried to climb out of the tub by myself. I climb up and down on my toyboxes all the time.

I started going to school full time again and am loving it now that I get to spend lots of time outside. I LOVE the swings. They are my favorite. Today, when Mommy came to pick me up, someone was getting off the swing and I saw them and went racing from the opposite side of the playground to try to get a turn.

I am talking tons. Not all of it makes sense, but I usually get my point across. I have words for many of my favorite things including going to the park and on walks and taking a bath.


My hair is more out of control every day, but I am getting used to having a clip in my hair now. I don't immediately remove it.

stairs

I have gotten really good at going up and down stairs. I try very hard to do it by myself now and I like to do it standing up. I have learned to use rails or hands to help me out. Here I am doing it at the park today.

Plums

I am loving the summer. Stone fruits are one of my favorites right now. Mommy and Daddy learned that they could give me a whole plum or pluot and I can eat it all by myself all the way down to the pit. Here is a little bit of me eating a plum.

Sleeping

I have been getting into some interesting positions while I sleep. Mommy always wants to take pictures, but she is afraid the flash will wake me. This was not going to happen earlier this week, so she went ahead and snapped away when she found me like this. My head was super sweaty when she took the blanket off!
